Hip-hop legend Lil Wayne released three new songs on November 10 in the addition to his latest album, The Carter V. The artist pulled together a feature for each track.

"What About Me", a take off from the album, was refurbished with a Post Malone feature. Malone brings a different energy, as opposed to Sosamann who was on the original version. What was once a monotone verse about concerned love is now a brief breakup story. Malone accents Wayne perfectly with his serenading and towards the end of the song, the two harmonize spot on. It is easier to enjoy this modified side of the track rather than the first.

Producer Tay Kieth lays down the foundation for Wayne on "Hasta La Vista." The song is Wayne in his natural form, zany wordplay and flows that bounce off the proverbial walls. While he raps ubiquitously, he illustrates a story of him kicking girls out of his life that stray his focus. Kieth, known for his work on hits like "Look Alive" and a fraction of "SICKO MODE," has put his name out for one of rap's best producers this past year. This instrumental is no exception

On "In This House," Wayne shares the mic with Gucci Mane. The Atlanta rapper opens the song boasting about his riches and purchases and Lil Wayne follows him with sporadic bars again. Ranging from Santa Claus insults to a Frank Ski sample for the bridge, this song is the most upbeat of the three. One can never complain about a Wayne track when he slips in a "Weezy F baby and the F is for..." line, for this track is in good company.

"What About Me" : 7/10

"Hasta La Vista" : 7/10

"In This House" 8/10
